The AM License, quadricycle option (formerly BSR) allows to drive a light quadricycle commonly called "voiturette" or "voiture sans permis" (car without license)
Its displacement is equal or inferior to 50 cm3, its power is inferior or equal to 4 kW and its maximum speed is of 45 km/h.
The quadricycle is a light vehicle whose gearbox is automatic. It can usually hold 2 people : The driver and a passenger.
In order to register for the AM License, quadricycle option, you need to :
Be at least 14 (there's no age limit)
Be in posession of the School Road Safety Certificate (ASSR1), obtained in 7th grade or ASSR2 obtained in 9th grade, or Road Safety Certificate passed in Greta for out of school children.
You need to build a CERFA 02 file, with the following documents : [Refer to the "Files to provide" page] to the driving school.
At the end of the training, the driving school will deliver you a certificate you'll have to give with the CERFA 02 file to the Prefecture (these steps must be done by the applicant necessarily accompanied by a parent if he's a minor and only by the applicant), and then you'll receive your AM License title.
